Winter Solitude
One of those moments that reminds me why I always carry my camera. We had spent the day skiing in the mountains, and on the way back the sky slowly turned into these soft shades of pink and blue. Everything felt impossibly quiet. This photo became my favorite I’ve ever taken. It’s the one hanging in my living room, and over the years it’s found a home in many others too. I still hope it brings people the same feeling of peace it gave me that evening.

Above the Quiet
Some of my favorite winter days aren’t spent chasing destinations, just wandering through snow-covered forests until the mountains slowly reveal themselves. This was one of those mornings. After a quiet snowshoe through the trees, the landscape opened up to endless snowy peaks glowing in the first light. It felt like standing above the world, if only for a moment.

The Detour
I almost missed this sunrise. I was driving before dawn with a completely different location in mind when an unexpected stop for gas threw off my timing. By the time I got back on the road, I knew I wouldn’t make it. So I pulled over, worked with the view in front of me, and watched the mountains catch the first light of the day. It turned into one of the most unforgettable sunrises I’ve ever witnessed. This photo is a reminder that some of the most beautiful moments happen when we stop chasing the plan and embrace what’s already in front of us.
